About Us

Niwa the Label was founded in 2020 by sisters; a mother and an aunty to two adorable baby boys. Driven by the demand of unisex clothing that were not only comfortable but also aesthetically pleasing and affordable. Our vision is to create an experience and range focusing on unisex clothing – enabling boys to have options and not having to admire the little girls section in stores to be double or even triple the amount of their own. Niwa wishes to relate to all the mothers also struggling to find diversity for their children and to assist with making that journey easier and more enjoyable.

Our label is inspired by our idea of “unisex” designs and colours. We aim to focus on simple designs with high functionality and attention to detail. The name Niwa was inspired by a Japanese character that we share as sisters – the kanji; “庭” pronounced “Niwa” and meaning “garden”. Due to the inspiration behind our label, we’ve decided to focus our design aspirations on; nature, greens and organic values.

Our goal would be to leave an impression and make a difference for all parents and their loved ones. To be the clothing label for you to remember and to always fall back on.
